Overview
Your first visit to our office is highly important. We believe in being thorough and we allow one an one half hours to complete a comprehensive dental examination. During the visit, Dr. Marcia Martinez will spend time reviewing your dental and medical experiences, examine your head and neck for signs of oral cancer, evaluate the muscles for tenderness and the tempormandibular joint for function. The teeth and sort tissue (gums) are examined for signs of decay, wear, mobility and periodontal conditions. Your blood pressure will be taken for a base ling. Following this examination, a determination of need for x-rays, digital photographs, intra oral photograph, or models of your teeth will direct Dr. Marcia Martinez in treatment planning your ideal treatment plan.
