Marcia Martinez, D.M.D.

Dr. Marcia Martinez's passion is dentistry. On a daily basis she is grateful to provide her patients with beautiful and healthy smiles. This is a family tradition. Marcia grew up observing her father Dr. Julio Martinez and mother RDH Lilliam, work together improving the lives of the their patients. Julio instilled in his daughter the love of dentistry and Lilliam instilled the love of taking care of the patient. Both of Dr. Martinez's parents were born in Cuba, seeking freedom for their family they moved to Florida in 1968. Marcia is the youngest of three siblings, she was born and raised in Orlando making her a native to the area.

Dr. Martinez attended Good Shepherd and Bishop Moore Catholic Schools and then choose Florida State University for a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. This was a perfect introduction to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry, where attended and graduated in 1999. After her graduation she followed her husband Torry in his business to Boston, where she practiced for two years. The desire to return to her hometown and practice dentistry in her family's dental practice was strong. In 2001 she and her husband returned to Orlando. Marcia picked up where her father left off, allowing him to retire knowing his patients would well cared for.

Dr. Martinez has surrounded herself with an excellent team of individuals. The mission in the practice is to provide the best quality dental care in a warm, caring, stress-free environment. The Team immerses itself in continuing education to insure that the practice vision is in place and promoted to patients daily.

A sure sign of an excellent dentist is the level of participation in dental societies and continuing education. Dr. Martinez recent continuing education includes: Invisalign certification I and II, Invisalign Practice Development, L.D Pankey Institute Continuum, Women's Dental Conference, New Dentist Convention, Florida National Dental Congress, and The Central District Dental Society CE weekend. Dr. Martinez is also a board member of the Greater Orlando Dental Society as of 2007 and is a member of the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She was recently given the prestigious honor of being selected as one of twelve dentist nationally to participate in th Diversity in Leadership Program in conjunction with the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago sponsored by the ADA.

Dr. Martinez has two children Owen, who was born in 2002 and Madeline who was born in 2004. She loves spending time her family in their neighborhood in Baldwin Park. Another passion of Dr. Martinez is exercising and promoting good health. She has completed in several triathlons and marathons. Her most recent being the 2008 Disney Marathon.

Melissa Quispe

Melissa has been working as Treatment Plan Coordinator with Dr. Martinez since 2005. She was actually a patient at the practice before she began working here. She brings with her several years of customer service experience from being a Manager at the Marriott Hotels. Her knowledge of dentistry is growing daily. She loves beautiful smiles and helping patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. Melissa is fluent in Spanish and English.

Milbia Franco

Milbia is a graduate from the University of Colombia Dental School. She practiced dentistry in Colombia for several years before moving to Florida. Milbia took the Florida Dental Hygiene Board Examination, so that she could practice as a dental Hygienist in Florida. She enjoys making a difference in her patients lives, improving their dental and overall health. Milbia is fluent in Spanish, English and has been with Dr. Martinez since 2006.

Edna Cintron

Edna has been working with Dr. Martinez since 2001. She graduated from dental assisting school in Puerto Rico and worked in dentistry there for several years before moving to Orlando. Edna enjoys all aspects of Dentistry! She loves being able to transform smiles and educating patients about their dental health. She is the office "Handy Girl", and is fluent in Spanish and English.
